The Cooling Tunnel is designed to cool hot filled bottles after the filling process. Bottles from the filler are transferred into the cooling tunnel where a multi-zone cooling system gradually reduces the temperature. The tunnel includes three cooling zones where each zone maintains a different temperature level. The first zone maintains a higher temperature while the final zone brings the bottle temperature close to room temperature. To maintain the required temperature in the first zone, a steam injector system is used along with a fresh water delivery system. Both systems are controlled through a digital temperature controller based on a heat-cool principle. If the temperature exceeds the preset level, cold water is automatically introduced into the system to regulate and reduce the temperature. This ensures safe and uniform cooling of the bottles before further processing.
