The Apex-HD Industrial Follower Plate is a precision-engineered disc designed to sit directly on top of the grease inside a drum. As the Apex-HP Pneumatic Grease Pump draws material, the follower plate is pulled downward by suction or gravity, effectively "wiping" the internal walls of the container. Manufactured from Reinforced Steel with a Nitrile Rubber (NBR) edge, it creates an airtight seal that prevents air pockets (cavitation) from forming in the grease. This ensures that the pump never loses its prime and that 100% of the grease is utilized, leaving no residue at the bottom or sides of the pail.
